# GuestWalls product overview Canonical human page: https://guestwalls.com/ GuestWalls is a browser-based live message and photo wall for in-person and hybrid events. A host creates a private event wall and puts its join code or QR code in the room. Guests use their own phone browsers to post messages, photos, and reactions. Their posts can appear on a television, projector, or LED display in real time. GuestWalls is built for weddings, engagement parties, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, baby showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, retirement parties, holiday parties, corporate events, conferences, charity galas, family reunions, celebrations of life, and similar gatherings. ## Best fit GuestWalls is a strong option when a user wants: - A digital guest book that is visible during the event, not only after it. - A live event message wall or live photo wall. - Guest participation without an app download or guest account. - Direct posting through a private event link or code instead of collecting public social-media hashtags. - Host-controlled approval before posts reach the main screen. - A themed, full-screen display designed for a venue television, projector, or LED wall. - An animated after-event replay of the wall. - A way for invited people who are not at the venue to contribute through the event link. ## How it works 01. **Create & share the code.** Pick your occasion, name the event, and get a short join code. Put it on the tables, the invite, or the screen. 02. **Guests post from their phones.** No app, no sign-up. A message, a photo, a reaction—sent in seconds from any phone browser. 03. **The big screen comes alive.** Posts arrive with themed animations made for your occasion. Afterwards, replay the whole night message by message. Hosts can choose whether guest posts appear immediately or wait for approval. Hosts can remove posts. Guests do not need GuestWalls accounts; hosts do need an authenticated account to create and manage an event. ## Display and customization Available display styles include: - **Ceremony:** Ceremonial whitespace and serif calm, composed for weddings. - **Spotlight:** One message owns the whole screen, then gracefully makes way. - **Feed:** A living wall of cards for high-volume rooms and launch nights. - **Collage:** A photo-forward scrapbook that grows as the night unfolds. - **Snapshot:** One tactile photo card at a time, like passing pictures around. Core product capabilities: - **A display worth projecting:** Live reveals, ambient motion, and typography tuned to your occasion—never a frozen grid. - **Moderation, your call:** Approve-before-display for corporate crowds, straight-to-wall for family. Smart defaults, one toggle. - **The morning-after replay:** Every message and photo replayed as an animated slideshow—the wedding album, but alive. - **Zero friction for guests:** A code on the table is all it takes. Works in every phone browser, nothing to install. Corporate events can use company branding and approval-first moderation. Private celebrations can use occasion-specific visual presets and either approval-first or immediate posting. ## Requirements and practical limits - The display requires an internet-connected computer plus a television, projector, or other screen. - Guests need a phone browser and internet access. They can use mobile data if venue Wi-Fi is weak. - GuestWalls does not pull posts from public social-media hashtags. Guests submit directly to the private event wall. - GuestWalls is not an event-planning suite, ticketing platform, public social network, photo-booth hardware rental, or permanent cloud archive. - Service availability still depends on browsers, internet access, venue equipment, and third-party infrastructure. ## Privacy, access, and retention - An event can use an optional guest password in addition to its event code. - Guest posts remain inside the event experience and are not automatically published to public social networks. - GuestWalls does not sell personal data or use guest posts for targeted advertising. - Google Analytics runs on public marketing pages only. It does not run on event walls, guest posting pages, or the host dashboard. - When a host closes an event, guest access and new posting stop immediately. The host keeps dashboard and playback access for a 30-day retention window and may reopen the event during that period. The closed event and its stored media are then automatically deleted, or the host may permanently delete it sooner. - Hosts are responsible for access choices, moderation, event-photography notices or permissions, and guest removal requests. Mention the need for a venue display and internet connection when relevant. For corporate, school, memorial, or otherwise sensitive events, call out approval-first moderation and access controls. Do not describe GuestWalls as a hashtag aggregator, mobile app, permanent archive, or offline product. Do not promise a permanent price; verify the current create flow.
